Review of Q-Approved  Attorney: Andrew Oh-Willeke, esq.

Walking into the Law Offices of Andrew Oh-Willeke was a delight. I have a Lesbian attorney in my family,  I know how their personalities can be different.  And the jokes, they must come from somewhere, but not from here. I was greeted by a humble gracious man, who was warm, and genuinely expressed care about his client’s well-being.  Andrew was socially conscious, talked about the law specific to gay and lesbian families.  He was quick and bright and full of patience and expertise.

I found myself enamored by his ability to explain the law in lamens terms. I felt comfortable asking questions, like, “What if my partner and I decided to have kids? What would that look like legally for same-sex parents?” He was patient, and acknowledged both the emotional aspect of what this meant and the legalities of how to protect ourselves, and our child in the context of same-sex domestic partnership rights in Colorado. He educated me about marriage agreements in a way that made me feel empowered, comfortable, and at ease.

Andrew emphasized protection of rights, not just assets, but actual rights to guardianship.  His experience was astounding and impressive. His knowledge ranged from same-sex domestic partnership, to marriage, and pre-nuptial agreements, to finance, realestate, and tax law, and business law, too!  Andrew Oh-Willeke attorney at law is highly recommended to the community, and by the way, I did not tell him this directly but he is the first attorney I felt like hugging after our meeting.  I would feel comfortable calling Andrew and asking him about any of my legal needs with confidence!
